California imposes 90-day foreclosure moratorium

Effective Monday California will impose a 90 day  moratorium on foreclosures. They somehow think that the bill will keep people on their houses.  The bottom line is that it will only make the business of banking more expensive. and consequently, make any financing more expensive and make it more difficult to get financing.  Californias good intentions nearly always create problems much greater than any that they solve.

And when the California legislature does something silly and harmful to its citizens, you can almost be certain that Nevada legislators will think that they should do something even more silly and harmful.  Be glad that the Nevada legislature only meets every other year
